Guess Who's Coming to (Thanksgiving) Dinner
Thanksgiving is just two months away -- can you believe it? September seems be by flying by! If you're planning on hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year, now is a great time to send a save the date for Thanksgiving.
It's not that your guests need to know the date (although, it doesn't hurt to remind them of the date this year). It's more that you want to let them know early that you're planning on hosting a Thanksgiving celebration so they don't accept an invitation elsewhere.
It is also a good idea for you to think about how many people you want to invite to Thanksgiving. Do you want a big dinner or a smaller gathering? How many people can you fit at your table? Will there be a "kids table"? Do you have enough place settings? Sending a save the date will force you to make these decisions and finalize your guest list!
