Little Elves Club
As I start to think about holiday planning, I also wonder what I’m going to do with all the “stuff” we’ve accumulated throughout the year. Since there are so many families who will be struggling financially this season, it’s a good opportunity to recycle your unwanted items.
My girlfriends and I host a “Little Elves Club” party every year in November. We rifle through our attics, closets and drawers and collect toys that are no longer played with, clothes we haven’t worn in the past 6 months, duplicate household goods and items the children have outgrown. We meet as a group to sort through our objects and group them together so we can have a real impact on families in our community.
This event is both personally rewarding and helpful to others. At the end of our hard work, we relax and enjoy a glass of wine together. Save the Date for your own Little Elves Club gathering with thoughtful online invitations. Together we can give back and make a real difference.
