Host an Emmy Party to Kickoff the New TV Season
Your favorite shows are about to start up again so now is a great time to get your friends together for a party to dish about the characters and plots. Don't forget that the season starts with the show that honors all your favorite tv stars -- the Emmy Awards!
I personally love watching the red carpet before the awards show. The dresses and hair and jewelry are just so beautiful, I could watch for hours. And that's what I typically do! My daughter gets into it too so we invite over some friends, take over the living room with snacks like cheese and crackers, grapes, chips and dip, and wine (for the adults, of course) and we watch the red carpet.
What makes it more fun is that we each pick our top 5 best dressed and worst dressed and during the commericals we compare lists! It's fun to have other girls to dish with and then we watch as our favorite stars take home the awards (hopefully).
