3rd Birthday Party with Bubbles

Looking for a cool 3rd birthday party idea? I’ve never met a kid that didn’t love bubbles so it works great for both boys and girls. When you start your party planning, think about decorating with the colors of the rainbow and add loads of birthday balloons and accessories to stage a festive affair. Strategically set up bubble machines to have a constant stream of bubbles in the air. For a fun 3rd birthday party activity, set up a creation station and let kids make their own wands with straws, pipe cleaners, flexible coat hangers and whatever else you can find around the house. I love the many store-bought bubble wands so fill buckets with these so the kids can go crazy.

Food can also be fun when you’re thinking bubbles. Start with sparkling apple cider (don’t forget the real bubbly for adults) and continue with kid friendly food cut in the shapes of circles— colorful jello jigglers, finger sandwiches, red and green grapes, carrot and cucumber chips and grape tomatoes. You get the idea, so let your imagination take over.

Cupcakes are the way to go to keep things bubbly. Creamy, white icing with pastel confetti top the tasty treats and plays nicely with the theme. If you‘re a birthday cake purist, there are great round ball molds that can be grouped together for a beautiful display. Beware- unless you’ve been a contestant on Ace of Cakes, you might want to leave this one for the pros.

For cool 3rd birthday party favors, there are a ton of great things to choose from—No-Spill Bubble Tumblers, Bubble Squeeze toys, Bubble Trumpets, you name it! So bring out the inner Glinda the good witch in all of your 3rd birthday party guests .You can get started on MyPunchbowl for your online invitations and go big with bubbles.

Enjoy Planning.
