Mother's Day Brunch Tips
Give Mom a break this year by hosting a Mother’s Day brunch! A Mother's Day brunch at home is great if you have a few siblings who can help prepare the meal, make everything look really nice and help create a special atmosphere for Mom. It's also great if you have multiple generations of moms. Basically make it a women-only affair and send e invitations to all of the aunts, sisters, grandmothers, and moms in your family.
You can keep the meal as simple or as decadent as you'd like. It's easy to pick up some fresh danishes at your local bakery and all the fixings for omelets, including onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc. French toast or pancakes with fruit on the side is also a nice treat. Provide an assortment of teas and flavored coffees for all your guests’ tastes.
One way to immediately make your table special for Mother's Day is with a beautiful floral centerpiece. If you have a green thumb you can put together one of your own.
