Easter Sunday Food Ideas

I've got a simple, delicious recipe for you that'll work perfectly on Easter Sunday as a course during brunch or a fabulous dessert.

Every Easter Sunday, I serve baked grapefruits in the morning. It sounds a little strange, I know, but you can't beat it for taste and color.

To make your own baked grapefruits, all you'll need are several grapefruits (one for every guest) and honey!

  • Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
  • Cut each grapefruit in half and separate each section on both halves with a sharp knife, but leave the fruit in place.
  • Drizzle honey over each half.
  • Pop your grapefruit halves in the oven for 7-10 minutes.
Once they're cooked, pull your halves out of the oven and serve immediately.

The end result will be a beautiful, deep pink grapefruit that's toasty warm and absolutely delicious. And the best part for your guests--the heat will make each section stand away from its edges just slightly for easy eating.

Bon appétit!

Enjoy Planning.
