Send Invitations to Your Fundraiser
It might seem like a no-brainer, but you can tell a lot more people about a fundraiser you're doing by sending out online e invitations. And after all, isn't that the point of a fundraiser??
I've been invited to a number of fundraising events such as auctions, dinner galas, and golf tournaments where the fundraiser used online invitations. However, there are other fundraisers that aren't in a party format for which you might also consider using online invites.
Bake Sales--Invite other parents, siblings, grandparents, neighbors, and others that you feel comfortable inviting to your kids' school and who are willing to sacrifice their waist-line for the good of the kids:)
Fundraising Walks--Invite friends and family to join you in your walk this year rather than just sponsoring you. Each additional person who walks with you will likely raise money of their own so you're having an even bigger impact than walking alone!
Car Wash--Fundaising car washes are pretty popular, especially with high school groups and teams. Prepare an online invite and let your friends forward it on to others. Come spring, everyone will need a good car wash! If I knew about a fundraising car wash in my area, I'd definitey go. You can also make the link public and share it on facebook or your school's website so you can spread the word even more.
Enjoy Planning.
