Bridal Shower Game Idea
I went to a lovely bridal shower this weekend and thought I would share one of the fun games that they played to keep people entertained.
Once I sat down at the table, I noticed there were printed scorecards with a stack of crayons. Each card (one for each person at the table) listed 20 facts about the bride and groom. Next to each statement was their name and you had to choose which statements applied to each of them. Here's the general idea:
1. Had perfect high school attendence: Bride's Name
Groom's Name
2. Broke their arm riding a bike: Bride's Name
Groom's Name
3. Loves everything 80s Bride's Name
Groom's Name
And so on...
As someone who is friends with the bride-to-be, I thought this was a great way to get to know the couple a little bit more! And it was fun to chat with my other friend about what we thought the answers were. Then it was fun to go over the answers -- everyone shouted out who they thought each one corresponded to. The person with the most correct got a prize.
I could see doing something similar for a birthday party or anniversary party. Instead of having two different names (in the case of a birthday), you could have True / False and see how well guests know the birthday boy or girl.
Enjoy Planning.
