40th Birthday Online Invitations
Although I would argue that turning 40 is “no big deal” since we’re getting younger (isn’t 60 the new 40?) most people still consider it a huge reason to celebrate. Since you can no longer officially claim to be in your 30’s, celebrate with a sophisticated seated dinner with your closest adult friends.
An important part of the 40th birthday party planning, is to schedule a meeting with the restaurant’s caterer or group specialist to plan the menu, wine pairing and ask about décor availability. If they offer candles, double the number since the soft glow of candles will definitely make you look younger! Think about “tablescaping” a la Colin Cowlie®, and ground your table with a beautiful runner. Add glass hurricanes that shimmer in the candlelight, along with one recurring element that is significant to the guest of honor such as seashells, fresh fruit or favorite flower.
There are many great things about turning 40. Hopefully some wisdom has been acquired over the years, inhibitions lost and most importantly friendships shared. So greet guests with a glass of fine champagne and toast to another 40 wonderful years ahead.
