007 Themed New Year's Eve

Hello Penelope,
I am planning an event for New Years Eve. The theme is 007 (James Bond) I am in need of a dessert idea. I am interested in any ideas for individually served desserts. Can you help me out?

What a great New Year’s Eve party theme! I'm a big fan of the James Bond theme for any kind of party, as you can see here. And good for you for planning your New Year's Eve party so early.

As for your dessert query, I suggest going with the Caribbean flavors of the Thunderball 007 film in order to give your guests a hot, sweet dessert in the middle of what I’m sure will be a freezing New Year’s Eve. Some classic Caribbean dessert ideas for your 007 themed party might be: Bananas Foster or a Pineapple version thereof, Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce or warm Apple Cake à la mode.

Short of baking a gun or some diamonds into a James Bond cake, I think that these desserts will be the most Bond-appropriate but still delicious options for your New Year’s Eve party.

If you find a dissatisfied guest, just get Oddjob to demonstrate his hat-throwing skill on a nearby statue and I bet he or she will quiet right down!
