New Year's Eve Cocktail Recipe

Hi Penelope-
I’m looking for a champagne cocktail recipe for this weekend’s New Year’s Eve party, and I thought I’d ask you. I’m looking for something fruity that would be good for a New Year’s Eve toast. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Dear Carlie,

I’ve got a great New Year’s Eve cocktail recipe for you. Start with peach nectar and a bit of white grape juice (to taste...some love fruitier drinks with less alcohol, and some are the exact opposite) in a champagne flute, then fill the rest with champagne or whatever sparkling white wine you can get your hands on.

As a garnish on the top of the champagne flute, cut a small notch halfway into a cranberry and slip it onto the rim of the flute. It’ll be a cute, small way to incorporate some holiday color into your cocktail, and your guests will be sure to enjoy the sweet, fruity combination of champagne, peaches and grape juice. Happy New Year’s!

Enjoy Planning.
