Fun & Unique Holiday Party Idea: Hot Cocoa Bar
With temperatures dropping and the holidays around the corner, I wanted to share a fun activity to set your holiday party apart and satisfy guests' sweet tooths. A hot cocoa bar not only sounds delicious, but it also makes for a nice focal point for your guests. Chances are this might be one of the first hot cocoa bars your guests have seen so it will leave them talking long after the party is over.
So what is a hot cocoa bar? Basically it's a fun and festive way for guests can cozy up to a toasty mug of hot cocoa customized with bite-sized add-ins. This is a perfect idea for a holiday party or even a winter wedding. (Still need to send invites? No problem. Design yours now!)

How to do it:
- Set up a display of festive mugs.
- Prepare a carafe or two of hot chocolate. A hot plate and teakettle work too.
- Finely chop add-ins (see suggestions below) and place them in decorative cups and trays.
- For adults, have a few mixers like Peppermint or Butterscotch Schnapps, Kahlua, or rum to give the drink a little punch
- Have guests create delicious concoctions.
Add-ins:
- Mini marshmallows, of course!
- Peppermint sticks
- Flavored syrups
- Flavored whipped cream
- Candied ginger
- Cinnamon sticks
- Chopped up candy bars
- Chocolate truffles
- Caramel squares
Enjoy Planning.
