When to Host a Cookie Exchange

Cookie exchange parties are extremely popular around the holidays. They're great because it gives us an excuse to bake cookies, get in the holiday spirit, and use those new cookie cutters you just bought. Cookie swaps are also fun because you leave the party with so many delicious cookies -- you get to try them all!

With the holiday season so busy, finding a day for your cookie swap can be a challenge. Is there ever a good day to host one? Yes, there is. December 4 is National Cookie Day! Do you believe it? A holiday soley dedicated to all the varieties of cookies. And it's probably no coincidence that National Cookie Day falls in the holiday season.

If you can't host your cookie exchange party on December 4, we can help you find another equally pleasing date for your party. Use MyPunchbowl's Date Decider to find the date that works best for your guests. Choose a few dates that work for you then let the Date Decider do the hard work of figuring out and recommending the preferred date.

First time hosting a cookie exchange? Check out this post describing how to host a cookie swap. Then design and send invitations and watch the RSVPs roll in.

Enjoy Planning.
