Black and Orange Halloween Cocktail: The Espresso Martini

I’m looking for a good cocktail recipe for my Halloween party next week and, even though I love your idea for a pumpkin martini, my husband can’t stand pumpkins. Do you have any other fun Halloween cocktail recipes up your sleeve? Thanks!

Dear Ashley,
You’re in luck! It's not up my sleeve (what a mess that would be) but rather on my mind as a delicious alternative to the pumpkintini. To go with the orange and black color theme of most Halloween parties, I have a perfect black cocktail for you: the espresso martini.
Combine 1 oz. of cold espresso, 1 oz. of vodka (I tend to use Stoli), 1 oz. of Kahlua and 1 oz. of Stoli Orhanj in a cocktail shaker with ice, then strain into a frosted martini glass. Garnish with a twist of orange for the perfect Halloween black and orange effect, and enjoy!
Hopefully your husband can handle espresso and oranges if he doesn’t care for pumpkins. Happy Halloween!
