Halloween Costume Ideas
Hopefully everyone out there is either hosting their own or attending a few Halloween parties this week. If you've left planning your Halloween costume to the last minute, I have a few simple ideas to share here that should get you started on the right track to enjoying this Halloween party season.
Harleyween: Maybe you go to work everyday in a suit and tie, or in a suit and heels. Let loose and have some fun this Halloween by planning a Harley Halloween costume and dressing like a biker. If you don't own a full leather getup, most costume stores carry just what you're looking for: cowboy boots, leather pants and a truly b-b-b-bad leather jacket. Apply some temporary tattoos of the Harley Davidson logo or of a ring of fire around your arm--anything to demonstrate how bad to the bone you are.
Freudian slip: This one is extremely easy for those ladies out there who may still be searching for their Halloween costume, but might be even funnier for men. It consists of wearing a slip with a Post-It note attached to it somewhere that simply says "Freudian." With a clever costume like that, you'll be sure to get a good laugh out of the other Halloween partygoers wherever you are.
Jane of the Jungle: This Halloween costume idea relies on one very important guilty pleasure--that animal print dress or skirt that most women have broken down and bought at some point in their lives. Maybe you've had yours since college and never have a chance or the courage to wear it, or maybe you're saving it as a fun item for a daughter or niece. No longer! Break out the leopard-spotted dress or the zebra-striped skirt and dress as a modern day Jane of the Jungle this year. What a great opportunity to feel sexy and get some use out of what you already own!
Whatever you plan to be this Halloween, have fun with your costume! Halloween is the best time to step outside of your regular life and into the shoes of someone else, even if only for a night.
