Quiz: Should you have a Halloween party?
Halloween is a mere few weeks away and you're still deciding whether or not to host a Halloween party. To help you figure it out, we've put together a quick quiz to help you decide:
- How much do you enjoy Halloween? From dressing up in costume to making a playlist of scary music to giving out the best candy to the trick or treaters, there's much to love about this wicked holiday. You either love it or you hate it.
If you love this frightful night, give yourself 1 point. - Do you like decorating? A Halloween party is just any old party without decorations. Unlike any other holiday, Halloween decorations -- spider webs, scarecrows, jack-o-lanters, etc -- completely set the scene for your party.
If you like to decorate give yourself 1 point. - Do you have a great place to have a party? Whether your home is big or small, you can certainly make it work depending on how many people you invite. However, certain homes are more conducive to entertaining and parties.
If your home is great for a party give yourself 1 point. - What's your Halloween party competition? People love going to Halloween parties but not everyone can host one (because of space restrictions, financial reasons, etc). Chances are your friends are hoping someone will have a party so they can dress up and do something fun on Halloween. Run it by a few people to see if anyone else is having a party - if not it's your chance to be the Halloween party hero!
If no one else is having a party, give yourself 1 point. - Do you have Halloween plans already? If you're weighing your options between going to someone else's party or having one yourself, this might be a tougher decision. But if you don't yet have any Halloween plans with Halloween just a few weeks away, take the initiative to make the plan. Host the party and do it your way.
