Holiday Decorating with Cranberries
Cranberries are a beautiful way to dress up your home--both inside and out--for the upcoming holiday festivities. Check out some of my favorite ways to incorporate this natural décor and you’ll see why this little red berry packs a lot of holiday decorating punch!
- Make cranberry candle centerpieces by filling clear cylinders and apothecary jars with cranberries. Place a large pillar candle in the middle.
- String cranberries on fishing line or craft wire to make a cranberry garland. Hang the garland on your tree, or in more unexpected places like a mantel or a chandelier.
- Create chic floral centerpieces by filling square vases with cranberries and water. Add calla lilies, roses and twigs to complete your arrangement.
- Make a welcoming cranberry wreath by gluing fresh cranberries onto a foam circle (cover the foam strips of trash bag for a better hold).
- Whip up some cranberry ice. Freeze a tray of ice with cranberries. Chill wine or champagne on the festive ice.
- Toast your efforts with some cranberry champagne. Take 6 dried cranberries and place them in a ¾ glass of chilled champagne.
