Christmas Comes Early

Even though Christmas is the same day every year, it doesn't mean you can't start celebrating early. In fact, there are some good reasons why you might want to consider having an early Christmas party this year (think early December).

1. The earlier you have your party, the more likely that your guests will be free to attend. Not sure? Use MyPunchbowl's "Poll for a Date" feature to give guests a couple event date options and see which one works out best.

2. Your guests will be really excited for the first holiday party of the season. Call it a "holiday kickoff party" on your Christmas invitations to get them really enthused.

3. Did you get some great new holiday decorations this year? Or trying out a new recipe? Don't risk that your guests have already seen the decorations or tried the recipe elsewhere.

4. If you are planning to reserve a location or book a DJ or photographer, your chances are better when there are fewer parties and they have fewer commitments.

5. When Christmas finally arrives, you'll be able to sit back and relax and just enjoy the holiday.

Enjoy Planning.
