Sweet 16 Spaaahhhh Party
Planning a sweet sixteen for your princess? Don’t let those extravagant, over the top celebrations get you down. With a little planning and creativity, you can throw a terrific sweet sixteen bash on any budget.
One great idea is to have an at home spa party/sleepover! You can get everthing you need at your local supermarket or drug store. For manicures and pedicures grab nail polish (black and white are huge right now for teens), nail files, buffers, and cuticle oil.
Also, face masks will definitely be a hit with the girls. Feeling creative? Why not try making a homemade face mask. Don't forget to have elastic headbands for the girls to keep their hair off their faces when the masks are drying.
If you want to splurge a little bit, you can hire a makeup artist to come and show the girls how to apply makeup (in a tasteful and age-appropriate way, of course). You may even be able to find someone who is finishing up cosmetology school that would be willing to come for a discounted rate.
