Butterfly Birthday Party
As spring approaches and your child's birthday nears, it's that time again when you need to come up with a theme for the party. For many parents, you child probably has a very specific birthday theme in mind (or more likely, they've had more and have changed their mind numerous times).
But if you're clueless on a theme and want to try something different, my advice to you is simple: butterflies. They're graceful and myseterious and fascinating.
Many areas have local butterfly santuaries. See what's in your area. There may even be an exhibit at the science museum.
If you don't want to take a bunch of kids on a field trip, there are some fun crafts ideas you can do right at home. Pick up a kit for origami butterflies. Add in butterfly stickers and stamps and each child will go home with their own one-of-a-kind butterfly. You can also include stickers in the goody bags.
