Birthday Party for Twins
As any mother will tell you the birth of their child is one of the happiest days of their life. So imagine the double joy of having twins! From the day they are born twins will require you to purchase two of everything. From shoes to jackets to school supplies, parents of twins have to lean to stretch every dollar.
However there is always one thing that they both can share: a birthday party! A good friend of mine who has twins uses her kids' birthday party to showcase their individual personalities. For their birthday this year they had a sports theme.
For Jack, she decorated with blue and white streamers, his football team’s colors. For Jenny, she made pom pom centerpieces representing her love for the cheerleading team. The games and favors combined both kids activities in one united theme which worked out really well.
Also another great idea (budget permitting) is to have individual (smaller) cakes for each child. It’s a great way to help re-enforce that the day is special for both of them (especially if they have different tastes).
