Go Green! Another Last Minute Halloween Costume Idea
Still searching for that last minute costume idea to wear to the local Halloween party tonight? Go green and arrive at the party dressed as a good idea! This Halloween costume is simple and ecologically minded--if you've got a large clear plastic trash bag, green pants, a green shirt, a green tie and a green permanent marker, you're in luck.
Begin by tracing the recycling logo above onto your plastic bag, taking care to make sure that it's large enough for people to recognize from across the room. You don't want them to think that you're just going as a bag of trash...you're going as a bag of trash with a message! And sure, you might feel ridiculous showing up to a Halloween party dressed as a trash bag, but the cleverness of your idea and the good intentions behind it are sure to make your fellow partygoers smile.
Next, cut arm and leg holes in the bag so that you can step into it and wear it as a sort of adult onesie (yes, I'm serious). Don your green clothing, fill the bag with clean recyclables of your choice (I suggest more clear plastic bags so as not to detract from the recycling logo), and secure the top of the bag loosely around your neck with the green tie.
