4th of July Party
If you love tasting parties as much as I do, why not throw a traditional 4th of July party centered on an all American recipe contest. It’s easy to pull off if there are a variety of foods to taste and vote on—we are a democracy after all! Start with a online invitation from MyPunchbowl and challenge your friends to make their favorite chili, rib, potato salad or apple pie recipe. I use MyPunchbowl’s potluck feature to coordinate with guests to ensure there are enough challengers for each group.
Declare your independence: 4th of July party planning
Although I tend to be a purist when it comes to the 4th, many of you want to declare your Independence from the traditional 4th of July party planning but aren’t sure where to begin. As you know, most Americans will be outside in backyards and parks having traditional 4th of July picnics and barbeques. So, if you want to be different, turn this convention upside down and think globally.
Food alternatives for July 4th party
Dear Penelope-
The 4th of July is coming up and I want to throw a party but I’d like it to be something other than the traditional cookout. Any suggestions?
