I disagree about not offering enough options, sometimes hamburgers are what you really want and sometimes steak.

I think your competing against e-vites and they have a much larger selection of design choices. I also recently bought into smilebox, they also have a better selection of designs. If I'm going to pay for a site like this, you really need better designs. I noticed you do not have an artist in your group of people that you feature on the head of company page. At least if you do it's not front and center. If I have to purchase an invitation to send out, I want really fun cute choices. Yours are not very cute or fun. Your web site offerings are a great start, I'm looking for one site I can pay for that offers what you are advertising but I want better design choices. Check out Stacy Claire Boyd, or tiny Prints. Blue Mountain has animated designs. Until your designs improve I'll just keep using the same sites I have used in the past.

I guess I'm an expendable customer:)

Well if we're gonna talk about #2, then I gotta say, "I want to be able to modify what guests are bringing as the host." Now, if I fail #4, then ignore my #2, but I think #5 would be better served, even if it is sauerkraut. I think Sean has done a great job teaching me about #1, so that I can help #5. As for #3, I got nothing. My sense of humor is usually funny 80% of the time, so go figure.

Fantastic case study in authoritative (not authoritarian) leadership. The most striking points (and the most timely for me) are some customers are expendable and no need to offer all possible options. I like the idea of breaking it down even further and making my services (as instigator/consultant for entrepreneurs) even more basic and offering a "condiment table" of DIY solutions that a client can self-service (like a relish/condiment bar)--allowing the client to get the basics (hot dog/bun) from me and customize their process (still with me, but on their own). Thanks for the support and fertile concept.
