I'm a rebel I know. It's truly ridiculous. You can bring multiple 4oz containers but they all have to fit in a 1 liter bag. This of course begs the question of why would you have a 4oz limit if you can still combine liquids up to 1 liter. 12oz spread across 3 tubes is somehow safer then one 8oz tube. Had the same problem:
